GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND STAY – CARDU ESTATE

1. PURPOSE OF THE STAY

This contract is intended solely for the rental of guest rooms at Domaine CARDU. To guarantee the availability of our rooms for all our guests, the stay cannot be extended beyond the scheduled date without prior agreement.

2. YOUR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Reception: We are pleased to welcome you between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm . As we do not have a permanent reception desk, please inform us of any unforeseen circumstances so that we can best organize your arrival.

Departure: Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 AM in order to allow us to prepare the premises for future arrivals.

Flexibility: Any unagreed overtime will result in an additional charge of 50% of the nightly rate.

3. RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

Confirmation: Your reservation becomes firm after receipt of the deposit (or online payment) and these terms and conditions signed within 10 days.

Withdrawal period: In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services.

On site: The balance of the stay as well as additional services (tourist tax of €1/night/adult, table d'hôtes, extras) are payable exclusively incash or by instant bank transfer.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

The client is advised to check their holiday insurance coverage for any unforeseen circumstances. All cancellations must be notified in writing (email or letter).

Cancellation more than 14 days before the start of the stay: Cancellation is free of charge. The deposit paid will be fully refunded to the client.

· Cancellation between 14 days and 7 days before the start of the stay: The Domaine retains the deposit paid (i.e. 50% of the total amount of the stay).

· Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the stay or "No-show": The full amount of the stay is due and will be charged.

·Shortened stay: In the event of early departure during your stay, the full price of the initial booking remains payable to the Domaine. No refund will be issued.

Cancellation by the owner: If Domaine Cardu is forced to cancel a stay due to force majeure, the client will be fully reimbursed for all sums paid.

5. FLAVORS OF THE ESTATE

Breakfast: The sweet option is included in the room price. Savory options are available for an additional fee upon reservation the day before. For early departures (from 7:30 am), a special service can be arranged upon request (supplement of €10 per person).

Table d'hôtes & Lunch: Our meals are carefully prepared upon reservation (24 hours in advance). Out of respect for the organization of our kitchen, any reservation not cancelled before 10:00 am on the same day will be charged.

· Half board: This package includes overnight stay, breakfast and dinner at our Table d'Hôtes (full menu excluding drinks).

Booking: The half-board option must be booked for the entire duration of the stay at the time of booking. For any request during the stay, 24 hours' notice is required, subject to availability.

Conditions: Dinners not consumed due to the customer will not be refunded or reduced.

Specific regimen: We would appreciate it if you could inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements when subscribing to the option.

6. ART OF LIVING AND SERENITY

Peace and quiet: To preserve the tranquility of the estate, we ask that you drive quietly. We invite you to respect the one-way system (speed limit 30 km/h) and to switch off your engine as soon as you stop your vehicle, both upon arrival and departure.

Interior: For hygiene and safety reasons, the rooms are strictly non-smoking and meals are not permitted.

Food storage: In order to guarantee compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, we cannot accept personal food in our refrigerators . An exception is of course made for medicines or infant food .

Drinks: The Domaine has a Category 3 license. As such, the consumption of outside alcohol is not permitted in common areas.

Animals: To ensure everyone's comfort, our animal friends are not allowed.

7. HOUSEHOLD LINENS

We take special care with our linens:

White towels are reserved exclusively for your bathroom.

Coloured towels are available for your use at the pool.

● Linen from the Domaine is not permitted for outdoor use. In case of damage, a replacement fee of €20 will be applied.

8. POOL AND WELLNESS AREA

Access: Open from 10:00 to 20:00 . The jacuzzi is available from May to mid-October.

Safety: Swimming is unsupervised; children must be accompanied at all times. For everyone's safety, jumping and diving are prohibited.

Hygiene: Wearing flip-flops is required to access the pool area.

Equipment: Parasols are particularly sensitive to wind. We rely on your vigilance to close them systematically in case of a breeze or when you are away. In the event of damage due to negligence, a replacement fee of €60 will be applied.

9. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DATA PROTECTION

The Domaine accepts no responsibility for loss or theft. We advise each guest to check their holiday insurance coverage. Due to its typical layout, the Domaine is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Data Protection (GDPR): The information collected during your booking is solely for the management of your stay and our administrative obligations. It will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

10. ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES (Police Registration Form)

In accordance with French law, an Individual Police Record will be sent to all our guests of foreign nationality upon confirmation of their reservation. This document, which is mandatory for any tourist stay in France, must be returned to us completed and signed before your arrival at the Domaine.
