GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND STAY
CARDU DOMAIN
1. PURPOSE OF THE STAY This contract is for the exclusive use of renting guest rooms at Domaine CARDU. The client acknowledges having read and accepted these conditions at the time of booking confirmation. The stay cannot be extended beyond the scheduled date without prior agreement.
2. RESERVATION AND GUARANTEE (Stripe/Elloha System)
• Process : The reservation becomes firm upon validation of the electronic booking voucher.
· Guarantee : The customer provides their bank details via the secure Stripe platform. No payment is taken at the time of booking (except for special rates). The Domaine reserves the right to perform a pre-authorization to verify the validity of the card. This entry constitutes an electronic signature with the same legal value as a handwritten signature.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
• On site : The balance of the stay, additional services (table d'hôtes, extras) and the tourist tax (€1/night/adult) are payable exclusively in cash or by instant bank transfer (received before departure) or by credit card (via our website)
4. CANCELLATION POLICY AND INSURANCE In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services. All cancellations must be notified in writing (email).
·Insurance : Cancellation insurance is offered when you book on the website. We strongly recommend that you purchase it. Otherwise, the customer will be solely responsible for the following charges, which will be debited from their credit card:
o More than 14 days before arrival : Free cancellation.
o Between 14 and 7 days before arrival : 50% of the total amount of the stay is charged.
o Less than 7 days or "No-show" : 100% of the stay amount is charged.
• Shortened stay : The total price of the initial reservation remains fully payable to the Domaine.
Cancellation by the owner : In the event of force majeure or serious technical reason, the Domaine will fully reimburse the client for any sums paid.
5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
- Standard check-in: Arrivals are between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm . As we do not have a permanent reception, the reception and the grounds are closed between 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm . Please inform us of any unforeseen circumstances so that we can best organize your arrival.
- Early Arrival Option: Early check-in between 12:00 and 13:30 is available for €40 . This option must be booked when making your reservation or requested by email to info@domainecardu.com no later than 24 hours before your arrival (subject to availability).
- Check-out: Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 AM at the latest. in order to allow us to prepare the premises for future arrivals.
- Flexibility and penalties: Any overtime not agreed in advance (arrival outside the scheduled slots or late departure) will result in the application of an automatic supplement of 50% of the nightly price .
6. FLAVORS OF THE ESTATE
• Breakfast : Sweet option included. Savory option available for an additional fee upon reservation the day before.
• Table d'hôtes : By reservation only (24 hours in advance). Any reservation not cancelled before 10:00 am on the same day will be charged.
• Special dietary requirements : Please inform us of any allergies when booking.
7. ART OF LIVING AND SERENITY
• Quiet driving : Drive quietly (30 km/h) and turn off the engine as soon as you stop. Failure to maintain quiet conditions may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
Hygiene : Strictly non-smoking rooms. Meals are not allowed in rooms. Personal food is not allowed in our refrigerators (except for medication/infant food).
· Alcohol : License 3. Consumption of outside alcohol is prohibited in common areas.
Animals : Our animal friends are not allowed.
8. HOME LINEN AND WELLNESS AREA
• Linen : White towels are reserved for the bathroom. Colored towels are available for your use at the pool. Please do not remove your belongings from the property. Damage fee: €20.
• Swimming pool/Jacuzzi : Open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Swimming is unsupervised (children must be supervised by their parents). Jumping and diving are prohibited. Flip-flops are required.
Equipment : Parasols must be closed in case of a breeze or absence. Damage fee: €60.
9. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FORMALITIES The Domaine declines all responsibility in case of loss or theft. We invite each guest to check their holiday insurance.
• Accessibility : Due to its configuration, the Domaine is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
· GDPR & Bloctel: Your data is used solely for the management of your stay. You have the right to opt out of telemarketing calls (Bloctel).
• Police form : For our foreign guests, a police form (link to Google form sent by email) must be completed before arrival.
· Mediation : In the event of an unresolved dispute, the customer can contact the consumer mediator: CM2C – 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris (www.cm2c.net).
